Arbitration
We have extensive experience of arbitration in the domestic, foreign and international arenas. Members of Chambers frequently act in references across a range of areas including insurance and reinsurance, commercial contracts (including oil and gas, electricity, technology and construction disputes), telecommunications (including appeals from foreign regulators), employment (including ACAS Panel), professional negligence and high-profile sports disputes. Chambers’ experience covers both institutional arbitrations, such as those conducted under the auspices of the ICC and the LCIA, as well as ad hoc references.
Members also undertake court litigation in relation to arbitrations in a wide range of situations, from court intervention in the appointment of arbitrators to appeals from, and enforcement of, arbitral awards.
Arbitrators
Senior Members of Chambers have experience chairing and acting as members of arbitration panels and are available to sit in most types of arbitration.
Our ADR panel includes former judges with extensive experience of deciding employment, injury and other civil disputes. Chambers can offer a confidential arbitration as a potential resolution (under a formal settlement agreement) of an employment dispute as an alternative to a public hearing which could be detrimental to both parties. Both claimants and respondents can have particular confidence in the impartiality and reputation of our former judicial associate members.
We are also able to offer a suite of quality meeting rooms for arbitration, mediation, conferences and seminars. For further details please contact us.
