Jolyon Maugham acted unled for the action group of members of the Icebreaker partnerships (the 'Take That' case) in the landmark case about alleged tax avoidance. The Decision, which took 18 months to produce and runs to 147 pages, is the longest and most comprehensive treatment of the subject ever produced by the Tax Chamber of the First-tier Tribunal.
