Laurence Willicombe
It is with a heavy heart that we share the sad news that our friend and colleague, Laurence Willicombe, passed away on 29 July 2021.
Laurence was much loved by his colleagues at Devereux and had a great reputation across the profession. A larger than life character with a great sense of humour, Laurence brought energy and enthusiasm to everything he did. Laurence was respected and liked in equal measure by everyone at Devereux and was recognised by Legal 500 as a “brilliant clerk”. He will be sorely missed by all of our members, staff and his clients as well as many former members of the Devereux family who have sent heartfelt messages of love and support.
Our thoughts are with his wife Natasha, children Noah and Phoebe, and all his family at this difficult time. Natasha was also one of our clerks and so both are long-standing members of the Devereux family. Natasha’s superb fundraising effort for the victims of bowel cancer can be supported here.
