Matthew Sellwood and Marianne Tutin join Devereux as tenants after pupillage
Devereux is delighted to announce that Matthew Sellwood and Marianne Tutin have joined Chambers as tenants upon completion of their pupillages on 1st October 2015. During the last 12 months they have built their experience across Chambers’ range of practice areas including commercial litigation, employment, insurance, personal injury & clinical negligence and tax and have appeared in court in their own right during their second six. Devereux warmly welcomes both Marianne and Matthew.
Matthew read Modern History at the University of Oxford and graduated in 2005 following which he spent a number of years working for charitable and campaigning organisations, as well as serving as an elected local politician.
Marianne obtained First Class Honours in Philosophy, Politics and Economics at the University of Durham. Before the Bar, she gained experience in policy and politics, having worked for an MP in the House of Commons and for a consultancy and PR firm with expertise in public affairs.
Both will accept instructions in all of Chambers' core areas.
