Robert Weir QC settles claim for man put in minimally aware state by Pete Doherty’s manager
A claimant knocked down on a country road by Pete Doherty's manager was put in a minimally aware state from which he has not recovered. Robert Weir QC settled his claim against the MIB, leaving the MIB free to recover its outlay against the manager, who drove without any insurance, and Pete Doherty, the singer. The manager had driven off after the accident and the car was only recovered by the police as it was in the process of being repaired.
