Sam Nicholls and Christopher Stone become tenants
Devereux Chambers is pleased to announce that former pupils Sam Nicholls and Christopher Stone have become tenants. Andrew Burns, Head of Pupillage said: "Sam and Chris won the respect of Chambers by their intellectual excellence, diligent hard work and client care. They are great additions to our team and are already impressing solicitors and clients."
Sam comments: "By taking tenancy at Devereux Chambers I have finally realised a long term ambition. I have been fortunate enough to join a Chambers where I can constantly learn from some of the best legal minds at the Bar and where my commercial common sense approach is appreciated. I am absolutely delighted to have joined such a well respected and ambitious Set which is going from strength to strength."
Chris added: "I am very pleased to have been taken on at Devereux. I came to the Bar after four years as a Strategy Consultant with Accenture and a year as Mergers and Acquisitions Manager at News International. I was after the greater intellectual rigour that the Bar provides and the chance to be self employed. In my view Devereux lived up to its reputation of being a friendly Set that really wants you to succeed. It views pupillage as the start of your career rather than just a selection process."
