Settlement for brain damaged S’riaah Parkes ensures lifetime care
Robert Glancy QC represented S’riaah Parkes, who suffered brain damage at birth and was subsequently diagnosed with four-limb cerebral palsy. Her mother sadly died of cardiac arrest shortly after the birth.
The settlement was approved by the High Court on 10th June 2021. The sum will ensure that S’riaah has access to the lifelong specialist rehabilitation and therapies she requires. It will also allow S’riaah and her grandparents to relocate to more suitable specialist accommodation.
Robert Glancy QC was instructed by Richard Kayser of Irwin Mitchell.
